Mary I. Cayse,, age 97, a resident of Hamilton, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Doverwood Nursing Home, Hamilton, Ohio. She was born in Hamilton, the daughter of Frank and Amelia (Schawe) Egbert. She was united in marriage to Paul R. Cayse on November 22, 1945 in St. Joseph Church. She is survived by one son James F. Cayse and wife, Judy (Malott) Cayse; daughter-in-law, Janice (Etchinson) Cayse; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; a sister, Rosemary Noes and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Cayse, on October 21, 1996; son, Russell “Rusty” Cayse; one sister, Clara Seegers and five brothers, John, Bernard, Joseph, George and Henry Egbert. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Julie Billiart Church, 224 Dayton Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Colligan Funeral Home from 10:00 AM til time of service at 11:00 AM. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery.
