Mildred H. ” Millie” Ante. age 90, of Hamilton, passed away at Woodlands of Hamilton on Sunday, April 30, 2017. She was born in Hamilton on June 8, 1926 to Bernard and Catherine (Wolpert) Ebbing and graduated from Hamilton High School. On April 17, 1948, she married Gordon Ante. Millie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing cards, traveling and attending her grandchildren’s activities. She is survived by her devoted companion and loving caregiver, Jack Pells, her children, Kathleen (Neal) Miller, Donna (Kenneth) Knodel, Gary (Sheila) Ante, Doris (Gary) Musselman, Angela (Jerry) Lauer, 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- granddaughter. Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Ante in 1987, her son, Mark Ante, brothers, Edwin and Clifford Ebbing and sister-in-law, Marie Ebbing. Special thanks to the staff at Woodlands of Hamilton and Hospice of Miami Valley for their patience, kindness and compassionate care. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, May 8, 2017 at 5:00 PM with services at 6:00 PM at Veteran’s Park/Michael J. Colligan Lodge, 20 New London Rd., Hamilton, OH 45013.
