Mona L. Bowling, age 81, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012. She was born in Hamilton on December 1, 1930, the daughter of William and May (Whalen) Thompson In 1967 she was united in marriage to Albert M. Bowling. Mona had been employed at Wilmer’s Department Store and in the Hamilton City Schools cafeteria. Mona enjoyed participating in senior dance classes. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Owens; grandson Steven Tyler (Andrea) Owens and great grandson, Jayden Tyler Owens. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and siblings, Freeman, Nellie, Linn, Kathryn, Eleanor, Lina, Jim, Norman “Dude” and Dale Thompson.Visitation will be 5:00 PM -8:00 PM Monday, August 6, 2012 at the Colligan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Millville Cemetery.
