Patricia A. Hildebrand, 86, moved to Heaven on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Born March 13, 1929 to Julius and Henrietta Meyer, she was raised by a single mom in a world where single moms were rare. She was raised a strong confident Catholic woman. She married Thomas W. Hildebrand on June 2, 1951 and raised a family of four with him. Patricia was an able bodied, strong willed, hard working woman long before women were thought of that way. Both her husband, Tom and longtime companion, Elmer Alford proceded her to Heaven. Her numerous adventures included Keeneland, Lake Cumberland, a trip to Ireland with high school friends and of course, Las Vegas with the girls. Her favorite pastime was playing cards, in one of her multiple bridge or pitch leagues. A highlight of her week was the 2 nights she played at the Amvets. A special thanks to all her friends that continued to make her passion happen. An amazing mother, a giving and fashionable grandma and a great friend and occasional partner in crime, she will be missed by many.
