Phyllis J. (Barnickle), age 74, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2014. She was born in Hamilton, on January 13, 1940, the daughter of Delbert and Helen (Weber) Barnickle. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. Phyllis was united in marriage to Brian Preston. Recently retired, Phyllis had been employed at Mercy Hospital for 20 years. Survivors include her children, Brian (Annette) Preston, Allen (Kim) Preston and Todd (Angela) Preston; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Jean (Dan) Thompson; brother, John (Melanie) Barnickle; many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Brian. Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Colligan Funeral Home from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 9, 2015 at St. Ann Church. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Ann. Church.
